Ginny Castillo attorney at law based in Guatemala, graduated from Universidad Rafael Landivar as attorney at law and legal sciences, with a master’s degree in International Labor Law from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and a specialization degree in Compliance issues from the George Washington University; Her experience has been focused on corporate, transactional, regulatory and labor compliance, being able to advice local and international companies in such matters.

With 13 years of professional experience, Ginny has led projects integrating planning, execution and formalization of acquisitions, purchase and sale of assets, management of intangible assets (brands, trade names, know-how), formalization of franchises, among others.

From 2009 to 2018 she worked for renowned law firms in Guatemala until EY LAW acquired one of these firms, allowing her to catapult herself to migrate as an In-House position functioning as Director of Legal affairs and Compliance for the Central American region within an international client dedicated to the transport of values and cash management. Her position as an In House was held from 2018-2022, since recently re-joined EY LAW as Senior Manager, being able to generate a comprehensive perspective on legal matters from the business insight.
