On October 30, 2023, the National Salary Council approved the minimum wage increase for the private sector for 2024. It was agreed to increase wages by 1.83%. The above was formalized by Executive Decree No. 44293-MTSS of November 9, 2023, published in the newspaper La Gaceta on December 14, 2023.
In view of this decree, the amounts for ordinary daily working hours and monthly generic occupation are as follows:

The increase in the above categories does not affect those positions whose salary was already above the minimum amount set.
