Biography
Rodrigo is Manager of the Litigation and Arbitration Division of EY Law. His profesional practice has been mainly oriented to Collection Processes, Civil, Commercial, Labor and Agrarian Law.
In addition, they have experience advising automotive sector companies on consumer issues, financial leasing, traffic judicial processes, and civil reparation actions derived from automobile accidents.
He has also had experienced working as an attorney in Arbitration proceedings before the Costa Rican American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and the Chamber of Commerce of Costa Rica.
Rodrigo has advised and represented EY Law’s clients in labor procedures before administrative authorities such as the Costa Rican Social Security Fund and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. He has also experience advising automobile companies concerning Consumer Law matters.
Rodrigo holds a degree in Notarial and Registry Law specialized from Universidad Internacional de las Américas. He also graduated with honors with a Tax Law special mention, from Universidad de Costa Rica.
Rodrigo has training as an Alternative Resolution of Conflicts’ negotiator certified by the Costa Rican American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and the International Center of Conciliation and Arbitration (“CICA” for its initials in Spanish).
He´s member of the Costa Rican Bar Association since 2016.
