Astrid Zosel



Astrid has experience in Professional Practice as a lawyer and Notary for more than 18 years. She is Manager at EY Law and her expertise includes: legal project structuring, preparation of prequalification bases, bidding and contracts of Public Private Partnerships and traditional public works. Legal matters linked to economic infrastructure of high impact, telecommunications, electricity, land transport by road and rail, air and sea. She also have  extensive experience in litigation of constitutional and administrative matters among others.

Astrid, advised the State of Guatemala in legal matters, in administrative, economic infrastructure, land transport, maritime, air, and participating as a delegate between the National Council of Exports of Guatemala, the National Port Commission, the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights, the Organization of American States, the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes -CIADI- and in the negotiation on Public Procurement between the Republic of Guatemala and other States, especially in the negotiation, implementation and regulation of Publishing contract.

She holds a degree in Legal and Social Sciences, Lawyer and Notary from the Rafael Landívar University of Guatemala. A PhD in Political Science and Sociology from the Pontifical University of Salamanca,Spain.
