Mr. Elmer Vargas leads the Procedural Division of EY Law Guatemala since 2013 and has over 14 years of experience in the legal areas of Civil Law, Notarial Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, and Mergers and Acquisitions with extensive experience in Procedural Law, Franchising, Civil Contracts, and Intellectual Property. He has advised local and international clients in the various areas of his expertise and has contributed to the development of the “Reforms to Improve the Doing Business Index” project organized by the National Competitiveness Program (PRONACOM) and the World Bank.

Elmer Vargas holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Rafael Landívar University.
