Laura Navarrete is a Senior Manager of the Labor Law Area of EY Law in Central America. She has extensive knowledge of Labor Law, both individual and collective, the formation of economic interest groups and business networks, handling cases of sexual and labor harassment, checking of compensation schemes, management of administrative procedures of a labor nature before the Costa Rican Social Security Fund, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the National Insurance Institute, among others. Her experience of more than seven years of counseling focused on the employer sector, has led to being consulted by various media on current issues of Labor Law and Social Security.

In addition to the above, she worked for a period in a firm specialized in labor matters in Washington DC, an experience that allowed her to strengthen her international focus and her specialization in transnational companies with operations throughout the Central American region and the Caribbean. Therefore, her participation in any project guarantees an expeditious response and adheres to the strictest quality standards.

Laura Navarrete has a degree in Law with honors from the University of Costa Rica. She is also a specialist in Notarial and Registry Law, Magna Cum Laude graduation from the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) and Master in Labor Law and Labor Relations of the University of Salamanca, Spain.

She also exposes constantly in seminars and congresses on labor issues and serves as Professor of Labor Law at the Fidélitas University.
