Ms. Natiuska Traña Porras is a specialist in Regulatory Law and Contentious Administrative Law. She has vast experience in litigation under Public Law under the new Administrative Litigation process.
Her expertise covers the Regulatory Framework for full competition in the Telecommunications sector, as well as the projects for the reform of the electricity and telecommunications regulation.
Prior to joining EY Law, she worked for the Costa Rican Institute of Electricity, advising and litigating in the two areas of business development.
She participates as partner of the National Economic Development Association and is fluent in issues related to the opening of markets and investment. She participates actively in the creation and design of regulations for the Telecommunications and Energy Sector to achieve an articulated regulation of the power sector focused on the interest of individuals in particular.
Natiuska Traña holds a degree in Law from the University of Costa Rica, as well as a specialty in Notary and Registry Law from Universidad Latina and a specialty in Contentious Administrative Law and Regulatory Law from the University of Costa Rica.
