Natiuska Traña is Manager of the Public and Procurement Division of EY Law where she is a specialist in Regulatory Law, Contentious Administrative Law and Business & Energy Law. She has vast experience in litigation under Public Law under the new Administrative Litigation process and due diligence advice to companies Energy and Telecommunications companies.
She has experience in transactions related to mergers & acquisitions regarding the Regulatory Framework for full competition in the Telecommunications sector, as well as the projects for the reform of the energy and telecommunications regulation based on technological disruption and clean energies.
Prior to joining EY Law, she worked for the Costa Rican Institute of Electricity, advising and litigating in the two areas of business development.
She participates actively in the creation and design of regulations for the Telecommunications and Energy Sector to achieve an articulated regulation of the energy sector focused on the interest of individuals and environment in particular.
Natiuska holds a LL.M degree from Universidad Europea de Madrid, as well as a Licenciate in Law from the University of Costa Rica (JD equivalent), a specialty in Contentious Administrative Law and Regulatory Law from the University of Costa Rica and a specialty in Notary and Registry Law from Universidad Latina of Costa Rica.
