He has more than 10 years of experience as legal advisor in the area of labor litigation and labor counseling, including the review and elaboration of working day schemes, training in labor issues, review of compensation schemes, review and elaboration of labor policies, attention to disciplinary consultations.

He also has experience in handling collective labor law issues, investigation of labor issues, administrative procedures in labor and social security matters.

Guillermo holds a law degree from the University of Costa Rica with an emphasis in Forensic Sciences. His undergraduate thesis dealt with collective labor matters, specifically collective labor disputes.
