Ms Machuca specializes in Corporate M&A with a focus on foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and the preparation and review of contracts. She has extensive experience in the regional management of trademarks, patents and author registrations, as well as in the protection of trademarks and other distinctive signs and relevant administrative and judicial disputes. She is member of the team responsible for drafting the “Natural Gas Law Project” and the “Law of Port Concessions in El Salvador”. In the area of labor law, she has experience in the negotiation of collective employment agreements and collective legal and economic disputes.  She is an active representative of companies in Labor Relations Committees (Employer/Employee).

Mónica Machuca holds a degree in Law from the Dr. José Matías Delgado University and a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Castilla.
