Thania has over 18 years of experience in the legal area. In 2007 she was the founding partner of Proxies Law & Business (previously called Gómez Alves & Partners).

She is an attorney, graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra of the Dominican Republic, homologated by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.

She has a Master’s in Business Law  from the University of Barcelona, Spain.

Thania has experience in Business Administration and also holds a specialization in arbitration, an International Diploma in Commercial and Corporate Law, Diploma in Commercial Contracts, Diploma in Personal Data Protection, Law of Information Society, Services and Electronic Commerce, Immigration; Competition Law and Digital Right Courses.

She is also a member of the Bar Associations of Barcelona and Santo Domingo, as well as of the Bar Council of Europe.

She has advised local and multinational companies in areas such as: M&A, Insfraestructure, Energy, Banking and Finance, among others.
