In accordance with the Reform to the Regulations of the Disability, Old Age and Death Insurance of the Costa Rican Social Security Administration (CCSS), agreed in session No. 9038 of the CCSS’s Board of Directors, held on June 20th, 2019, the Board defined to periodically increase the percentages of the IVM contribution. 

This entails that, in 2023, the new contribution for IVM will be of 11.16%, distributed in an increase of 5.42% in the case of employers; and 4.17% in the case of workers.

The amounts set forth above are effective as of January 1st,2023, and will remain in force until December 31st, 2025.
