Melany is a Senior in the Labor & Employment practice at EY Law Costa Rica. She has over 5 years of experience in labor legal advisory, assisting companies and entities in resolving labor disputes, applying disciplinary processes, calculating labor benefits, handling cases of sexual harassment and workplace harassment, analyzing work schedules and roles, assessing compensation schemes, preparing and reviewing internal labor policies, drafting contracts and other labor-related documents, providing advice in collective bargaining processes, and other labor-related matters. Furthermore, she has experience in Public Law and has worked on administrative litigation processes, where she has gained expertise in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, monitoring and updating court records, and preparing judicial hearings.

Melany has a Law degree with a mention on Tax Law from the University of Costa Rica and has been a member of the Costa Rican Bar Association since 2021.
